French figural mantel clock with spelter statues of two maidens supporting globe with 8 day time and strike on bell, spring driven movement with platform lever escapement with one putti between them holding an hour glass, c1900
CONDITION:
the statue with old gold repaint now flaking, but still in overall good condition. The movement is ticking briskly; bell removed for photo count wheel striking.. Light reflecting from polished globe kept dial from showing well. Fancy cast hands. Ht 27"
